I called myself from the darkness and summoned myself through the veil. I invested myself in flesh. No, I am not God.

Yet.

They say this ritual is flawed. It produces but a shadow of life. But to one who has never known it - or one who to whom it has been lost -

Twice have I performed it, both times on myself. The body I first held is now of little use to me, but - it seems a waste to let it fall entirely by the wayside.

To know life is a gift. I will give it to another. To have a servant will suit me.
